Text Notices - How to Use Them

Create announcements or use one of our templates to communicate important information to your residents on your elevator screens.

Text Notices can be used to post longer descriptive announcements to your residents that will appear in the main section of your elevator screen.

How to Create a Text Notice

Log into elev8, and navigate to the Notices tab

Click "Add Notice"

Click "Text Notice"

Click the "Title" field and type the title of your Notice

Click the "Body" field and type the body of your Notice.

If you would like to add a Start Date, click the "Starts at" field. Select your date from the calendar.

Tip: If you would like your notice to start on the same day you create it, don't give it a start date.

If you would like to add an End Date, click the "Ends at" field. Select your date from the calendar.

When complete, click "Publish" to Publish your Notice.

To save the Notice as a Draft, instead of clicking on "Publish", click on "Save as Draft".

How to Edit a Text Notice

To edit a published Notice, click on the correct Notice in the Notices Gallery.

Make any changes you want to your Notice, then click on "Publish" to re-publish your Notice.

How to Delete a Text Notice

To Delete a Notice, click on the correct Notice in the Notice Gallery.

Click "Destroy"
